Linda Barr, RN, MEP-C
Skin Care Nurse
Before coming to Skin Care By Design in 2004, Linda spent 15 years providing skin care in dermatology and plastic surgery practices in her home town of Kansas City and here in Tucson.
Linda graduated from Avilla College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her certifications include Arizona Medical Laser Technician, Laser Safety Officer, and Aesthetic Nurse Professional. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Arizona Nurses Association, the Dermatology Nurses Association, the Association of Medical Esthetic Nurses, and the American Academy of Medical Esthetic Professionals.

Skin Care Nurse
Carla graduated from Southern Illinois Collegiate Common Market in 1989 as a Registered Nurse. She worked in Intensive Care Units, home health care, and as Director of Nursing for Summit Hospital in Tucson before moving to the plastic surgery field in 2000.
Her certifications include Arizona Medical Laser Technician, Laser Safety Officer, OSHA outreach trainer, and Carla is a mentor in the Educational Leaders Program.

Skin Care Nurse
Mandi graduated from Cochise College in 2003 as a Registered Nurse. She began her career in the Emergency Room at University Medical Center before deciding to enter the medical aesthetics field. After studying dermal filler injections with Dr. Kojian in Orange County, Mandi was certified by Bioform as a Preferred Injector for Radiesse filler.
Mandi is certified by the State of Arizona as a Medical Laser Technician and Laser Safety Officer. She is a member of the Association of Medical Esthetic Nurses. Mandi is also fluent in American Sign Language.

Micropigmentation Specialist
Irma has worked as a permanent cosmetic artist since receiving her certificate from the Nevada Academy of Micropigmentation in 2001 and her advanced certification from the International Institute of Permanent Makeup in Newport Beach, California in 2003. Irma has 25 years experience in the graphic arts field with an Associates of Arts degree from Reno, Nevada. She has applied her talents to designing beautiful eyebrows, eyeliner and lips, including working with cancer and alopecia patients. "I am dedicated to understanding and responding to the cosmetic needs of my clients."
Irma Alexander is an independent, private contractor and not an employee of Skin Care By Design.

Medical Assistant
Yezzenia (Jessy) graduated from Morrison University with Diplomas in Business Management and Travel/Tourism. She entered the medical field in 1999 as a Surgery Scheduler and Medical Assistant before moving to medical aesthetics.
Yezzenia is fluent in Spanish and translates for our Spanish speaking clients.

Medical Director
Dr. Gomez-Avraham practices Anesthesiology in Tucson, Arizona with Southern Arizona Anesthesia. He received his medical degree from the University Of Arizona College Of Medicine and completed residencies at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, University of Arizona College of Medicine, and Tucson Medical Center. Dr. Gomez-Avraham approves policies and procedures, reviews charts, and advises Skin Care By Design on medical issues.

Stacey is a native Tucsonan pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Science from University of Phoenix with a focus in Green and Sustainability. She spent seven years in Customer Service at Miraval before joining Skin Care By Design.

Business Manager
Michael manages the company accounting, advertising, purchasing, and website operations and is a software engineer with Computer Sciences Corporation. He received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico.
